I've just finished getting my car back together and im looking to see if anyone has a tune or a rough tune using a safc 2. I have listed all the mods to my car in my profile if there are any further questions PM me and ill answer them. I thank you for any help

To be honest every car is different, even DSM's with similar mods can be night and day. The most fuel you can pull using an SAFC is 50% from stock, which are 450cc injectors.
  • 450 x 0.5 = 225
  • 450 + 225 = 675cc
Your profile lists you running 780cc injectors so there is no way you can tune the car running just an SAFC, theres just too much fuel to correct for. I also suggest getting a wideband gauge so you can monitor your cars air/fuel ratio, without one you greatly increase the chance of destroying the car because you'll be tuning blind.

Im pretty sure its a 290 unless I messed up the math it has the wahlbro logo machined on it and its from a ford focus believe it or not I think its from an svt

Is it possible to subtract enough fuel to make it managable til a better way to tune it is affordable

I don't think Walbro makes a 290LPH pump, either. I've only heard of and seen 190 and 255LPH pumps from them. The only way I can think of to use the AFC to tune those injectors is possibly lowering the fuel pressure with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, but they're not the cheapest things to buy, especially for just a temporary fix. On the other hand, it is recommended that you have an AFPR when running an upgraded pump, anyway. When I first installed my Wally 255HP without an AFPR, my base fuel pressure was about 75psi!
