So i'm asking this due to the fact that I'm considering turboing my RS Eclipse. I Have a GSX and I have my rs aswell and I wanna be different and have one of each. Any ways I have the Turbo Kit picked out it this one:Hahn Racecraft - Automotive Turbosystems

What I wanna Know is how hard is it to put it into an RS since there is no fuel return line and any other personal accounts of using this kit.

Any type of insight will be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

BTW: I own a Max For a daily and a GSX for my other toy!

Hell....Why not! Best of both worlds. I've never known someone that owns both.

Why not try to find a gst? Then you could have a turbo fwd and awd and switch parts between em. At the end of the day it is up to you though! My brother had a Hahn kit on his car, everything was extremely nice but seems like it was expensive compared to adding parts to a factory turbo car.

Had a GST Before i got my GSX and i went thru tires like water! any ways i Have 1 4g63T car to deal with thats enough for me!

i say do it! it's rare to find 420a turbos!

IMO, make a custom turbo kit instead of gettin the hahn kit. it seems awfully overpriced but i do hear lots of good reviews for it, so it's really up to you. just make sure the car is in top shape before you do anything.

not only that but, youll be one of the only N/T DSM's with a turbo in our great state of RI!

i wouldve did it to mine but my car is gettin real rusty from all this crappy weather. plus the engine is hydrolocked.....:ohdamn:

who told you there's no return fuel line?
they lied.

I've had the head off this car once and didn't see one at all and there isn't one on the top of the tank like my gsx so im figuring there isn't one!

third if u want since your in the ri area u should join my forum http://www.abductedmotorsports.com/
there's about 5 eclipses in our club, couldn't hurt to have another one!

after some research it turns out that only the 95's had a return line. i didnt know that. my turbo 420a just happened to be a 95 LOL

anyway, just get an aftermarket fuel rail, and bung the gas tank, and run your own return though a fpr

Hahn kit is super easy to install if you have a head on your shoulders. It's also easy to make a return like necrotopsy was saying in order to install a fpr. If you have the money and don't mind spending it, Hahn is the way to go and definitely the easiest way also.

Why a kit that uses a 16g?? With only 8psi, you can go way cheaper with a smaller turbo.

cfm > psi

besides that, once the boost bug has bitten you, you WANT MOAR
hahn has prepared you for that with the 16g. also some people already have a built engine, they just need the fun turbo stuff.

i put a turbocharger on my neon that i used to have. it was a challenge but is definately worth the work. crazy power

yea man! its a big reason why i joined this site. i thought i was the only 2G eclipse in the whole state! i stood out way too much when i drove around, like nobody knew what my car was! LOL tons of compliments though, cant complain about that!

but yeah there are other fellow RI' ers on this site as well. not many, but we are around. its hard meeting other tuners in RI, it seems like im the only one who is into DSM's/tuner cars around here.

Turboing my RS was the best thing I've done to it. I personally think the hahn kit is a little pricey. You can built your own kit for roughly 1k compared to 3k for the hahn kit.

Thanx for all the suggestions and the opinions. I noticed alot of u say "why do it" My biggest reason of all is i wanted to turbo this car before i bought my last two 2gs with 4g63t's and i let this one just sit and i wanna just have fun and it seems like a fun project to take on since its not really for speed or race. Its just kinda to say look what i have and can do. I'm pry gonna go with the hann kit due to the fact that it give u everything u need to do it and I've herd nothing but good reviews from people on here. thanx for the help!

use a vortex fmu for fuel regulation. definately upgrade fuel pump. i turboed my old gs in a few hrs. but fuel pump wasnt wired right and detonated piston #1. also clutch starts slipping when boosting so recommend a performance clutch assembly fun car tho. Also do a electronic fuel cut device no missing link
