The GSX has been studdering a lot when i get on the gas lately. Even when I'm just cruising around I'll get the occasional quick studder out of no where, then everything goes back to normal. But when I get on the gas... it's like the car just keeps bucking... the boost on my gauge will drop about 5psi and then go back up when the car bucks.
Another problem i've been having sometimes only really happens when i'm driving a long distance... like a 45 minute drive somewhere. Everything is fine but then all of a sudden whenever I hit the gas the car will bog until the boost gauge reads about 5-10psi then I take off. When I shift it happens all over again.
I never thought about checking the TPS until tonight. I checked the resistance across pins 2 and 4 like the Chiltons book said. It was reading 4.48Kohms when at idle (key/engine wasn't on). As soon as I opened the throttle plate a little bit my meter would go to OFL (overload, out of field limits, whatever you want to call it). From what I read on here, that reading is way off. But I couldn't find any links or anything describing how to adjust the TPS... or do i have to just get a new one?
Do any of you have any links or info on how to adjust it if it can be? Is it even the TPS doing this? Oh, I forgot to say that on my S-AFC2 the throttle percentage hasn't been working for a while either if that could help prove something.
Any help is appreciated
