I finished up a few things, poured in some new brad penn 10-30. Then I fired the beast up tonight. She sounds great and should be good to go for march 3rd at a lower elevation track. Got a few more suspension bugs to work out though. I'm getting excited just to hit the track again.

Thanks a lot guys. Every day that gets closer the more anxious I get. Ill be going over the car pretty good over the next couple of weeks just to make sure I have a good day at the track. So much to do and so little time.

As long as you get a solid run in, I doubt it will disappoint. Even if you don't get the record, a clean pass should result in a new PB with the 14b.

That's usually all I go for when I go to the track. If I can better a 60' time, 1/8 time, or overall ET then I'll be happy. I really need to get my SD tables lined up so I can get a better tune on the car and know where I'm at with it. So I'm gonna try to hit the track the day before the CMI race so I can get some things dialed in for Sunday. Then hit it hard.

On another note, i'm getting real tired of this "hair drier" effect. Tried out a couple simple brief 2step's today, now that i'm not on spring pressure. The first one built 14psi@4k rpm, let it idle for a little bit than tried again and got a jolt of +21psi@4k rpm while picking up some knock too.. Ouch the water/meth pump was working for sure but something isn't right. It seems i can get the AFR's to go down when i press the test button at idle but it has no effect while boosting for some reason, even with a bigger nozzle. Will be troubleshooting this weekend with compressed air..

Got a chance to troubleshoot today using compressed air, everything checked out fine. I guess, it just needed an even bigger nozzle! Drove the car around while making 3 small pulls in the 20psi range, came back to the driveway and did another split second 2step, it took less than a second to build 17psi@4k with no knock this time. That's what i like to see.. whenever i look at the log and see those voltage spikes, it feels almost like scratching nails on a bath tub Thinking about making another video of it, if i get motivated enough.

You've Been around long enough. I'm sure you already know every trip to the track isn't very successful. I'm very anxious about this race because me and Sacramento raceway don't get along very well. I'm might have to finally step up and make that track my bi***.

One more week guys. I plan to hit it hard. Car weighed 1876 race ready no driver. So she's on a good diet unlike the driver. I'm gonna try to test the brakes out this week but I'm ready.

With me in it the car weighed 2076.

Well I have the highest mph on a 14b as of today. Still gonna run but it's 124.8mph

Bested today with a [email protected] and a crappy short shift that caused a 1.7 60'. More to come tomorrow.
