Is a TD06 16g good or bad, or a TD05 17c?

I have a TD05 16g and a TD06 17c turbo. is there anyway I can make 1 badass turbo out of these 2?

TD06 16g = direct bolt on + T3/T4 turbine housing + externally gated

TD05 17c = some machine work needed + 7cm housing + interanally gated

Whats a good combo?

or

its not worth the time doing?

- A 16G compressor doesn't generate enough airflow to prompt a TD06 turbine....about all you'll gain there is lag.

- A 17C compressor doesn't flow as much at high boost levels as the 16G wheel.

Lots of R&D went into the design of each of those turbos. Don't take offense, but you're not going to come up with anything better on your own.

find yourself a nice 6cm exhaust housing. have it machined for tdo6 wheel. most any turbo shop can do this for about 50-75. results are a 17c turbo that will spool super fast and kick butt on that 16g. you will need to make custom waste gate mount as well.
