I'll be sure to PM you the link to my dyno thread. The cams were bought pre fp/comp cams and the 272 intake was on glactic back order at the time.
You keep me posted and let me know when you make more than 428whp. Be sure to bring your c16 because I needed 27-28 psi to make 400whp on a SCM61 and stock intake manifold. Maybe your 1g head will make up the rest of the difference for you. :p

Not only are you ignorant to the fact that bolts on have their place in the dsm comunity for a reason but your blind too. I have a dejon tool smim not a stock intake manifold in plain site in my profile pics and I saw you post in my other thread about the fp2x cams(big suprise your post over in that thread was useless too  ) so makin power on stock mani and all that is not relevent to my car. Either your at a high altitude or you need to get someone else to tune your car cause 27psi with c16 on a 65lb/min turbo and only makin 400whp is garbage:notgood:

You should dyno your car.

I'm at a whoping 700' asl. My tuning is the same one that nets me 428whp on pump gas. As far as 27psi on a 65 lb/min turbo, you need to read the turbo education thread. Flow rating doesn't mean anything if the motor doesn't have good VE. Surprise...surprise...the sbr/pte hotside is not good for VE. A true garrett with an adapter plate would be much better and no more expensive. If an exteranl wg is too rich for you blood (steering towards regrid cams and a mild steel intake manifold leads me to believe this) you will be disapointed withe the shat interanl that comes with SBR's turbos.

In all my posts towards you, I have only offered constructiuve information untill you felt the need to bring negative information about/towards me. My help seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I just hope the info is good to someone else. Keep in mind the only people that are gung ho for bolt ons are the people who run them. People who have run them and switched to full garetts don't switch back to bolt ons and often speak out against them. Before you post some crap about me or my car, you should consider that.

Can you make 500whp on a bolt on? sure. Can you swap turbine housings on that car and make 70-100 more whp at the same boost? Yes. Just ask Dave Buschur. That is my point. Is 100whp sigificant to you? Is .4 to .6 in the 1/4 sigificant? Why don't you ask a guy running 10.50s that.

nanokpsi FTW

Having driven bolt-on and full Garrett cars, it's hands down Garrett is the way to go if you want to make power.

I don't understand the price cost issue -

Internal gates suck on big turbos - my 60-1's AGP gate blew open at 21PSI, so an external is borderline mandatory anyways.

Manifold - Many, many people upgrade their manifolds. Spend a bit extra for a T3 if you need it, or buy an adapter plate.

O2 housing - any exhaust shop can make an O2 housing. Provide them the flange, the mandrel bent piping, and the O2 bung, and have them weld it up. Downtime for O2 housing - 1 day.

Also, any lag is shown to be minimal in terms of real-world use. Why dump money into a car only to choke it back down?
