I enjoyed the announcer- the same guy who was announcing the night your driveshaft took a shit, said "Right lane 10.91....where did that come from?" LOL

Epic :D

Congrats! I know it has to feel great to hit your goals, and still know there's a lot more to come. Nice to see someone taking it to it's potential. :thumb:

I'm glad someone is finally showing the real potential a HX40 has. I kept reading power levels of like 650whp but only running mid 11's

Keep it up Dave!

Hey I know who you are talking about... That guy really knows his stuff! He is VERY VERY knowledgeable in tuning and working on these cars. That car also weighs a ton 3600lbs without the driver.WTF

I wasn't reffering to a single person, i feel these HX40's put down ungodly amounts of power, yet the guys can't usually get them past low 11's? I just don't understand it. But if the rest of them are like the guy you are referring too, and there DSMs weigh more than the diesel turck their turbo came off of, than i can see why they can't break off a 10 sec pass. Not to bench race, but i used an E/T calc online, and based on my race weight of 2900 pounds, if my car made 450whp, would a good launch and shifting my car should run an 11.1 E/T. With a very high ten being my final goal, this 7 blade HX35 should get me there with no problem.

Nice pass man! I was at PRP that night with the black evo. I wasn't expecting that 10sec pass at all. Your car is a sleeper for sure. I can't wait to see the holset-powered 1g get even deeper into the 10s. It was the owners first time racing the evo. I think with traction and some more experience he'll hit low 10s with his best trap being 140. 10.8 wasn't bad though on stock tires and suspension.

I'm going for a even faster ET next time around! I just have to take the driveshaft out and get it balanced cause something has a bad vibration at 120+mph, that or I need a new carrier bearing! I hope I can figure this out soon, also a set of QTP's are soon to be on their way:D

Curious on how you got that race weight? my car is high 2700s im still all metal body panels no under dash etc

Thats what the scale said when I pulled on it 2660lbs! My seats weigh at most 15lbs, the light drive shaft, the JMF fuel cell, The JMF smim, no bumper supports, no windsheild wipers, also all the wiring for the wipers are gone, the radio, speakers, and wiring for those are gone! All the seat belt crap is gone and wiring, the crash beams in the doors are gone, tiny battery, no p/s!!!! Etc===

Hot damn!!! four hoosier QTP's are on their way, thanks to the wife!!!!:hellyeah:
