I took the car out to Portland International Raceway this past weekend to shakedown the 2011 setup. Setup is in my profile and is up to date.
Here is a breakdown of the passes:

60': 1.688
1/8: 6.820 @ 105.11
1/4: 10.581 @ 129.27

60': 1.626
1/8: 6.775 @ 105.05
1/4: 10.545 @ 129.16

60': N/A - Red Lit
1/8: 7.023 @ 105.16
1/4: 10.767 @ 130.20

I'm extremely happy with the setup right now. Car was pulling through the brakes, so a vacuum pump is in the works right now. The setup stalls on the line like an animal with the PI 1G billet converter and the 75-shot! The English Racing DynoJet "claimed" the car made 438awhp/324tq. at 29psi, and that was where the boost was for all of the passes. The tranny cooler cracked and start leaking on me after the 3rd pass, so I'll fix that and be back out here soon!

Thanks guys!

I have the DSMLink FPS settings set to come on at 3000rpm and shut off at 5000rpm. The Precision 1G billet converter (yes one of the old ones) stalls very nicely, so when it hits 3k on its own, the nitrous kicks on and pushes the rpms to 5k literally instantly. The nitrous shuts off before I even leave the line. The stock brakes weren't holding anymore, hence the weaker 60's, but English Racing is installing a vacuum pump to supplement the braking power on launch. I'm excited for the next time out! :D

The converter will stall the 3065 on its own no problem, but not fast enough to be competitive on a pro tree, so I use the nitrous still and it literally stalls to 5k instantly.

No, I'm still running a stock 1G auto trans with a welded center diff. I was just fortunate enough to find one of the old discontinued Precision Industries 1G billet converters. I have to thank Scott@AMS for selling it because it works extremely well.

Running out 3rd or shifting into OD?

I've been revving out 3rd. The tranny does have a new end clutch set since I bought it with a dead OD last season, but I don't think it would work well to shift into OD with this large of a turbo due to the significant RPM drop between 3rd and OD. I think that the 3065 would fall quite a way out of its efficiency range. I may try it once the next time I take the car out just to see what happens.

Still hurts to see guys like you and Lucas running and trapping the same as me with little turbos... HAHA! I think once my 60's come down after the vacuum pump that my times will come down pretty far. 1.6s are weaksauce! So it's all good! :)

Yeah, I figured with the large turbo that holds boost up top it would be likely better to run out third to about 8000rpm rather than shift down into the 5500 range in OD, but never hurts to try and see.

Which Vac pump are you going to use? (I need to buy one this week...totally forgot about that part!)

Any plans to run the nitrous down the track? :hellyeah: You could sneak into the 9's possibly!

I'm not sure what vacuum pump the English guys use. We just all agreed that I needed one. Haha! I've considered using the nitrous all the way down the track to see where my times would end up (cheaper than buying another turbo setup!). That may just happen as well. :p
