Billion dollar ponzi scheme by the parent company conglomerate. What a shame. I dunno if I can find floating hat rotors. Gonna have to start over if someone does not pickup the manufacturing from this mess.

Might know someone that can help.

1 has to die so that 10 may survive. Yes, I'm really that jaded when it comes to actually prosecuting financial crimes. The grift wasn't grifting hard enough I suppose.

Well, if they want to get off the hook, they should just hire Brad Bondi. Charges mysteriously disappear with that guy on defense. He's a wizard.

I don't even try to wrap my head around these expensive scandals. I have too much else to worry about, and at a much lower cost. If they're getting charged then someone obviously figured it out. Business taxes and audits alone hurts my brain enough. Brake components, and as far as that apparently extends, is not my concern. What the IRS pulls out of the bag next year however keeps me up at night.

Ah, how my life can seem simple compared to a multi billion dollar scandal.

Or conglomerates buying family owned business’ and keeping the name and likeness. Then another. Then another. Now the “get a quote from the next business” is just getting an overpriced quote from the same parent company or industry they all control. It’s been happening. Especially HVAC.

:toobad:

If it isn't a private equity firm buying up a brand and liquidating it, it's a ponzi scheme. Faaakkkk.

Nothing makes me rage quite as much as this. It's even happening on the small business level in Pensacola. Some private equity POFS bought a local junkyard and now it's greed 101.

They keep raising the price to enter the yard, and want exorbitant prices for stuff. You know the two little rubber radiator supports on the bottom of a 1G Radiator? They wanted $45 for both when I set them on the counter. Then had the gall to ask me "oh are you coming back with cash" when I turned to walk out. I turned and laughed and responded "No, you can have them, I'll figure something else out for $45 for stuff I could've easily fit in my pocket and not told you about."
