What could cause a stock engine temp gauge to stop working? It doesnt work on any of the 2 clusters I have. I changed the theromstat lastnight and it didnt change anything

A possible wiring issue has arose and/or your coolant sensor stop working. It is a possibly the gauge itself is no longer functional.

Check by your coolant temp sensor for a broken wire same thing happened to me a few days ago.
There are 2 connectors going into the housing... one is a double connector and the other is a single wire connector on the bottom. Which is the one to the temp gauge?
