Stock Bottom End... FP Turbo... Would Like to Hit 400whp!!

Honestly, I have seen a couple stock 6-bolt bottom ends over 600WHP. Green, IMO, is the greatest pump gas turbo out there right now. Mine saw only a little pump gas at the beginning and then only 110 or higher for the remainder before I sold it. BTW, making 500WHP is not that easy with a green. 470WHP if you're lucky.

if your talkin about the car in the thread about the bolt on gt35r that did 601whp with stock ecu and old school afc I will correct you. It not only wasn't a stock bottom end but it didn't have stock compression either and was extremly peaky. A stock 6 bolt bottom end will pop AROUND 500whp I say around cause each case will varry but that is where you're playin with fire. I know because I am tryin to do the vary same thing with my current pics

Mike Rizzioti made over 600whp with his stock 6bolt bottom end with just cams in the top end. I believe that was on his 3065 but I might be wrong with that.

I know it's been done many times but we always had an upgraded valvetrain with cams as the bigger turbos would produce more up top over the stock rev limit. I'm not doubting you, wishihadatalon but it's a bit hard to believe.

Its been 2yrs sinse I talked to him about it. As far as I can remember it was just head studs and cams. Either way I was more impressed with the 600whp figure on a stock shortblock.

Yea, a typical DSMer wouldn't see these kinda figures but if you hang out a lot with well known tuners, 600WHP on a stock 6-bolt bottom is actually more common than most people think.

Mike made 585whp on 3575 and that is the record for a stock 6bolt not 600whp.

alright well i have seen a 2g awd hit over 400awhp on stock bottom end and my buddy just did it at 411awhp. there is no guarantee as to when a bottom end is going to POP but regardless. I think with a good tune i can hit my mark of 400whp on pump, all of you are making me very reassured about this.

It was 560whp on a 3575.

If the engine is mechanically sound, the supporting mods are there, and it has a really good tune, there is no reason why it won't handle all that a Green can put out.

If its that comon I would love to see links or dyno sheets or have the poeple come here and say it themselfs. No offense but the "I know a guy that made 1000000hp with a x turbo" comments aren't justifying anything right now.:boring:

I've never heard of anybody going higher than 560whp, where are the 600whp stock shortblock cars?
