starting issue

My eclipse is having trouble starting it does it some time cold but not always more after a drive .I can hear the starter click but it does not start the frist time. I do it one or two times more and it starts,the battery is new the starter is new new wires and plugs im starting to supect the ecu but i cheched it it doesnt seem to be leaky caps or smell burned.

clean all of your grounds. Check for heat on the wires while cranking, heat will show excess resistance. Next have the starter tested even if it's new then go from there.

I check all the grounds ,ill look for the excess heat on the wires. If my caps were leaking would that cause the starting problem also my isc went out replaced it and now its throwing the isc code again could a bad ecu cause this.

If the motor is not cranking it is starter/battery/ignition related. The click is the soldenoid engauging but not rotating, that is if the click is coming from under the hood.

Yes, ISCs and ECUs are known to give each other problems.
