ok when you mount it you drtill a 1 3/4 inch hole down and about a 6 inch piece of steel tubing goes down. you bolt it in two places to the metal behind your speakers, i guess it could have a slight affect in body flex, but i dont htink it was made for that. Its more just a cool lookin toy heh...but i like my Greddy FATT better !!!!more fun to play with the buttons

Looks good, I've always been a fan of light bars on drop tops.

LOL copy cat.....it will look good on your car man

thanks for the compliments guys

It looks slick, but does it _do_ anything? Is there a bar inside there, or is it just trim?

It's not a roll bar if that's what you're asking. I still think they look kinda neat though. Wouldn't mind getting one, but $500 is a little pricey.

im not a big fan of drops tops .. like the spyder.. its just something about them that makes the cars look weird.. driving them is a different syory - fun to drive on a hot summer day music blarrin.. anyway.. those light bars are pretty sweet, i remeber seeing them on a site and just said if i ever had a drop top that be te first thing id do to it... more spyder owners should also conisder it. :thumb:

yeah i got it cause i havent seen it on any 2gs yet....a few 3gs but no 2.....another thing that is origional on my c

When I was lookin at getting a Mustang GT conv. I was gonna get the light bar and the tanneu? (or somethin) cover that covers the back seat. The stangs look sexy as hell w/ them on it and I wanted to get them for my eclipse but I can't find that crap anywhere. Anyone know where to find it?

www.kazetech.net they have what your looking for man.

I think the car looks great, definatly different seeing what a 97+ Talon would look like convertible. But last year you said you got rid of the one wiper job, that just throws the car off in my opinion.

It's good to see you got rid of those pink wheels and the Puma stripe you had going on. But your spelling still isn't up to par

ya know as much as i wanna say somethign im not. Thanks man. I never got around to putting the other wiper on honestly. not a t the top of my list or priorities......anyways ill let yall know when somethign else comes up

Im posting this becuase i have had nearly 10 pms about it in the last month or so.

ok now that all the search words that could possibly be used are included in the post, here goes the rest of it.

This is about (i believe) the only manufacturer of the light bar (as seen on mustangs) for the 95-99 eclipse.
here is a picture of it on my old car

I have to say it was of the UPmost quality. I recieved it about a week after it was ordered, when i took it from the package and laid everythig out i was extremely impressed. Everythign was neat, bubble wrapped, no blemishes from the factory, quality vynal. And the light inlay was awesome. Then i got to the instructions which were EXTREMELY clear. It includes a template you lay on your platic to mark the hole to drill to put the bar through. (HINT, before you mark the drill hole, be sure and have someone pull on the plastic panel to pull it as far outward as possible, some spyders have problems with the plastic not fitting flush with the window trim, this fixes it dramatically due to the fact you have a pole goign through the hole to hld it there!). It even comes with the color wire you need to tap into to get the light source for the light in the bar.
Installation was smooth, i had to take out my speakers and grills from the sides, so i could access the points to drill adn everything, its much easier to take the panels off to make the holes unless you have a 90 degree drill like i did.
I believe that is it on the light bar.
If yuo have any more questions feel free to post, im always here to help!

you make a thread about a light bar, but post a picture of the so-called "light bar" from the front, where you can't see any hints of lights on it?

If you havent seen a mustang with it, your sheltered.

But check the website, they have one there.

If i owned the car still, and werent if africa, id be happy to go outside and take a picture of it on. But im not able to and i wish i did but im sorry for it. Imagine an LED strip in the ass end of the light bar, and you have the visualization.

holy shit .. 429.. just wondering if that bar will help the car in anyway if it were to flip over.. or is it just for show & extra break light??

if its only for show i could make it out of fiberglass, mold a spoiler brealight on it & sell it for $200
