Hey I’m not experienced at all with speed density and the maft won’t work well with my ic set up so I decided to go SD. Can anyone tell me what all I need for SD and inform me if it works with ecu flash?
 
I am not at all familiar with ECU Flash but it would need to be reflashed I am betting.
As for components, you need a 3 or 4 bar MAP sensor and a GM Intake Air Temperature sensor in your intake tract. The sensors wire into the MAF input plug, but I have plug and play since I run Link so I can't tell you at the moment what patches into which wires.

How do I know if I need a 3 or 4 bar map sensor
 
A "BAR" is 14.7 PSI so it would depend on how much boost you run. I REALLY need a 5 bar for my setup. The first "BAR" is the vacuum part of the sensor so the rest of them are for boost, in a nutshell, so a 4 bar sensor would read up to 44.1 pounds of boost (which I have seen on my setup with a 4 bar sensor), a 3 bar would read up to 29.4. :thumb:

Ok sweet makes a lot of sense. Is it better to just get a 4 bar sensor even if you don’t need it just Incase of the future projects or will it mess with things having more than you would need
 
No it would be the thing to do! I have seen some posts lately that are not liking the 'OMNI" brand, but it is what I run on my 90 and my 92. Since you have a 2g, you can use a different sensor, one that mounts in the place of your baro sensor, IIRC.

Sounds good thanks for the help! I’ll have to order it off stm and have the bung welded in.
