I changed my plugs, wires, pcv valve, and intake pipe from stock rubber to a hard 3" pipe also put on a new downpipe, new exhaust piping, new muffler and rewired fuel pump.

u think i need to retune it cause ever since i rewired my fuel pump and put new spark plugs in my idle dropped a lil bit then it usually was so im thinkin i need to do some adjustments in the tune?

i have a custom chip for my setup.

Just monitor the same parameters as usual and adjust if any changes are necessary. I doubt anything you changed will require any major changes in the tune though

Our cars have, if I remember right, around 18% adjustment so the ecu can take car of small mods like exhaust and intake. I remember when we installed an intake and exhaust on my buddys wrx. He bought turbo xs EMS and went to have it tuned. The guys at the dyno shop said we where damaging the motor on the subaru because the ecu is not good enough to adjust for the mods. I was blown away since we can do it no problem.

The only time you really need to retune DSM's for driveability are when you do modifications to the fuel setup, with that being said your cars fine. If you read Junes article in Modified Mag on the Evo X (tech section) you'll see with just basic bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, & FMIC) the car was stumbling all over itself on the RRE dyno without a tune. Of course you could get more power out of the DSM if you did some tuning after these basic mods but I think we're pretty lucky the car is still driveable with just basic bolt ons.

so my tune should be fine still right with just the stuff i replaced? but before the fuel pump wasnt rewired and im thinkin now that it is maybe i need to retune it?

The rewire just allows the voltage at the pump to stay consistant. You are not increasing the amount of fuel going into the cylinders or raising the fuel pressure. If you were to change the pressure via AFPR then you may consider retuning.

As stated you'll be fine. If you want to fine tune then by all means go ahead but you don't need to.

Since you're running ecmlink why don't you just take a data-log and see if the tune changes?
I personally had to pull some fuel from my tune in areas above cruise when I did the fuel pump re-wire, hence the reason for doing the re-wire to increase or maintain voltage at higher rpm in order to increase fuel delivery.

well i cant cause dsmlink was removed after i bought the car :( the previous owner tuned it before he sold it to me with dsmlink and had a custom chip burnt from the info he got from the link tune. so all i have now is that chip in my car.

what can i buy to log knock and stuff since my eprom is socketed already?

To log knock, you can pick up a palm pilot and use MMCD(sourceforge.net). I believe there is a setup to use the laptop too.
Since you're ecu is already socketed, you can get a chip burner for $30-100, and use Tunerpro(marmansur.com), which is free. You will have full timing and fuel control at your fingertips. Hook your wideband back up and tuning should be a no-brainer.

will this work also= Dataloggers

Ever since i rewired the fuel pump and changed the spark plugs from ngk BPR6EIX to ngk bpr7es my idle dropped im thinkin somethin maybe got reseted on the custom chip i have when i unplugged my battery to rewire the fuel pump or can it be that i switched from iridium plugs to copper?

i tell u guys this if i go back to the iridiums and my car goes back to normal then i think i might just run those from now on...
