I have ran the same 4 layer metal exhaust manifold gasket for over a year and a half and I've removed the exhaust manifold atleast a dozen times since. Not once have I gotten an exhaust leak from it, so I don't think you have much to worry about since you've basically never used yours.

Yeah its fine to re-use as long as it still seals if not just take it off and replace it.

Yep. Its a great gasket that you can reuse over and over again. Mine has been on for about 2 years with at least 8 removals.

I re-use the stock 2-layer one all the time, just make sure its clean.
