turbo to manifold gasket

I have a turbo to manifold gasket that is all metal and looks like it is more than one piece from the mitsu dealer. My problem is that the hole is way to small for my bep housing. Can i enlarge the hole with a dremel or will it ruin the gasket?

Is it stamped steel with a raised "bump"

it has a seam around the outside but where the hole is its smooth on both sides and the inner edge is covered so you cant see any layers

oh a side note, has anyone else noticed the bolt holes on the dsm gaskets to be off centered from aftermarket hot side housings? my BEP and PTE bolt on housings both needed to dremmel the holes a little out of round so they would sit flush.

Don't dremel it. Get the correct gasket. It will blow out...ask me how I know...;-)

yeah i guess mine was solid metal gasket, i dont know what his looks like, mine was a crush type gasket, not layered at all.

stealership, extreme psi, STM, MAP, etc...

Edit: yeah what justin said. the turbo itself... and the housing are WORTH the price alone. although my turbo did come with an oil drain gasket thats better then the one my drain kit came with. thanks justin

Well the turbo's only $1000, and it doesn't come with gaskets, either. Sooooo...
