S256 - best buy

This is more or less to see where people have been buying their s256 turbos.
I've been seeing them for about $1100.
I'm looking for an internally gated extended tip s256 with a bolt on DSM turbine housing.
Where are guys seeing new s256 turbos for the cheapest price?

Correct. THe exhaust wheels on those are much too large to be vented properly by any internal wastegate by any means. We had experienced a massive amount of creep from the internal gated versions. There's just too much efficiency being made by them to use that.

$1100 is about right. Unlike other companies and models, there's not a lot of room for "flexibility" with that price. That's about as good as you're going to get.
