[RESOLVED] 1g cams in a 2g head?

I bought 1g 280/280 bc cams and when they got here I remembered that Im using my 2g head that was ported and polished. These cams will still work in the 2g head right?
And yes, in case you are wondering I do have the bc spring and retainer upgrade kit.

Yes sirrreee.. They should fit.. 1g and 2g head are almost identical (at first glance and without measuring anything), but the bottom end is different.. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but those cams will fit..

CONFIRMED!! You are good to go.. Just be sure to take your time with the cam install.. Get that shop manual out, or go to vfaq.com for detailed instructions on how to do this.. Good luck, and have fun..
