1g block 2g head?

i have a 1g block will a 2g head fit and if so what should i keep from the 1g i seen someone say the intake manifold what else if there is something

The head will fit yes, you might have to open up the head bolt holes to 12mm I think. The 6 bolt headstuds are like a mm bigger than 7 bolt headstuds. Most consider the 1g intake manifold to be a bit larger than a 2g manifold.

There are a lot of threads on this so I know you did not search the forum or read the rules either.

However, you will or rather should bore out the head stud holes 1mm larger to properly fit the larger studs and you'll need to use the 2g water pump, pipe, and t stat housing. You'll also want to do oil mods #1 and #2 which you can find in the articles section.
