2G head on 1G block

I'm pretty sure that it will fit but if you do some research the 1G head flows a lot better than the 2G head.

If the 2g head is ported it can be more efficient than a 1g head. But why would you want to put a stock 2g head on a 6bolt? Just curious..

The 2g head flows better only on low end and mid range, after that the 1g wins hands down.

If you want to put a 2g head on a 1g, you will need to bore out the head bolt holes.

there is a huge difference in the port matching when you have a 1g head on a 2g intake manifold. If you needed a head and a 2g was really cheap then it would work for you, otherwise I would stick with the 1g.
