So I was trying to remove my stock o2 housing from my turbo, and all of the bolts have come out fine, except for the nut that needs a wrench to come off. This sucker will not come off for anybody, not with 1/2 a can of PB blaster or anything. We tried hitting the o2 housing to spin it a bit, and nothing. Finally, I just said screw it I won't pull it off, and went to put the bolts back in, and now the o2 housing gasket is offset and I can't get it centered. Any tips to either get that nut off or to center the gasket? Thanks

Is the housing on the car or off?

If off, then maybe an impact gun.

But for whatever scenario, a torch aka heat will do wonders.

Its off the car. I can't get my gun on it because the o2 housing curves over it making it impossible to get a socket on it. The only option is a wrench, I don't have a torch but I may have to find one if there isn't any other options?

Ohh yea, I forgot about that. Clamp the sucker down, heat AROUND the bolt on the turbo flange (where the threads are), put a wrench on there, hold it, and give it precise and quick blows with a hammer or something.

Crap I keep forgetting we're talking about a nut not a bolt. So, heat the NUT itself, this will make the nut expand and loosen.

I have a handheld butane torch that I use for soldering lugs on large wiring, would that be useable? Or should I get off my ass and ask a friend to use their torch?

Putting a pipe on the end of the wrench for more torque could help.

^^^ What he said. Spray PB Blaster on it again and let it soak for a bit. Use a breaker bar or a wrench with a long pipe. I guarantee it wont take more than half your strength to get it off.

put it in a vice, youve already pb blasted the bolt right?, put the wrench on there, put a pipe over the wrench end, and pull, or just hit the wrench with a hammer.

Yeah I already had used a ton of PB blaster a couple days earlier. The wrench started to slip off and wasn't doing me any good, so I heated the nuts for like 2 minutes with my butane torch, put some vice grips on there and went to town with a hammer. Lets say I won haha thanks for the help fellas.
