2G Radiator fan wiring?

Hi guys newb here, 98 gst 4g63, I have searched the threads but can't find something like mine. Using slim aftermarket fan, wiring to original pin head. Wires on pin head are blue, black, blue/black and black/ white.

Should I be wiring both wires with stripes to the blue slim and both solids to the black? Had both blues running to blue slim and blacks to black slim. Car started dying on me randomly.

Had it wired that way and it will randomly die. All power gone. Rechecked wires last night, I do have + + and - -.

Check all grounds going to your engine (on a starter bolt) one to the firewall and one to the transmission. Is it your WHOLE CAR dying? Is that what I am reading or just the fans?

Ran the car today to work without that second fan connected and still the whole car dies twice on me. Will check grounds, seems to have a leak somewhere as well. Air to fuel something is not right. I'll be running the computer later since the check engine light came on see what code I get

Be sure to list all your modifications in that profile so people can quickly get all the info they need about your car so they can give advice based on that information.

What are you using for engine management? Link? If so post a log of it.

Also you need to recirculate your BOV asap. If you recently bought the car you should really do a boost leak test, set your TPS, BISS etc before really screwing with it.

Yea haven't messed with it much that redoing the oil pan. Def will test for boost leaks. Now the fan is the least of my worries. Worst case scenario I'll just add a swith to it. Just want her running smooth. Guy was suppose ti send paperwork and never did.

Do you have aftermarket injectors or anything? If so you'll need some sort of tuning. Might not be a bad idea to pull the ECU and see if it has a prior chip. May just need a cable.

Not sure? Guess I have some homework to do. Sighhhh...

I'll be running a boost leak test look into recirculating the BOV and check grounds over the weekend. She definitely runs rich. I'll keep ya'll posted thanks for being so helpful

So I had a huge boost leak on the neck right by the turbo to the intercooler piping. Fixed that looks like it had a piggy back ecu. I will see exactly tomorrow, ran out of daylight. Will keep yall posted thank you!!
