Quick question about bolt type.

Hey guys I was wondering what's the exact dimensions of these bolts? They are rusted and worn and I would like to replace them. Also, if you guys know where I can buy them that would be very helpful too. I was checking rockauto but I'm not sure exactly which section they are in. Thank you for the help. This is for a 2003 galant 3.0L engine.

Just remove them and match them up at the hardware store... They may all break off and then you will have to extract them from the manifold.

Is there a reason you are doing this? My advice would be leave them alone unless you NEED to remove them.

Thanks. Yeah I'm trying to the sensor that's to the right of those bolts but I'm having trouble so I figured I just remove that part and make things easier.

o2 sensor?

if you need to remove them to replace the sensor, just be careful and try using penetrating oil before you remove them...

hard to tell in that pic but most likely

8x1.25 12mm head or

6x1.0 10mm head


heat and finesse to get them out, work them back and forth, dont just torque or you will bust the heads off. as soon as you feel it jam up , go the other way......as to "clean the threads". patience

If and thats a huge IF... You get them out my advice to install again is to use stud and copper nuts! Better in the future to remove again. If not then use 8.8 grade bolts, i had them on my turbo manifold for 6 plus years and they came off without breaking! If they was 12.9 however they would have snapped
