I have a 99 GSX with a 6 bolt swap, I want to change the o2 sensors, plugs (NGK) and wires, and so on. Reason being I have bad gas mileage and running rich, and throwing a code P1105 (fuel pressure solenoid malfunction) and trying to fix it, and possibly my crazy gas consumption. What else can I do? And when shopping for motor goodies what year eclipse do I refer to, early 90's? Thanks

Well first start by fixing your fuel pressure solenoid to get rid of your cel.
That will be a 2g fuel pressure solenoid.

It depends on what parts your looking for to upgrade.
Is it a 6 bolt long block or does it still have the 7 bolt head?
What exact performance parts are you looking to upgrade, then I can tell you what to look at.

Im thinking of bypassing the solenoid will that adversely effect anything negatively? And I don't want to upgrade anything right now just replace whatever is causing my bad mpg, any ideas? Could the P1105 be a factor? And I don't know how to distinguish between the 6 & 7 bolt head how can I tell. I have a T28 running 16PSI, and I run 91 octane, maybe the octane is too low could that make it run richer?
