I picked up a T3 turbo off a 88 Saab 9000. Its a tbo356. I have been reading that it is supposed to be a water cooled only but it looks to have both the oil ports and the water ports. How do I tell if it is both oil and water cooled or just water? Any pics of a t3 install would help allot or maybe a trick to knowing which ports are to what.
I am also wondering what to expect when this goes on. Its .42 compressor side and .48 exhaust side. I plan to put it on a 9 to 1 motor with a front mount and a race ported head. I am hoping for some input on what kind of boost to run after the motor is broke in. I am going to run this setup somewhat stock until I gather the rest of my parts and install my stand alone system.
