This will be my 1st turbo upgrade..So i am not sure what i will need to get it in

Td04e a/r .50 a/r 63 (yes its ebay ) but its just kicking around . My engine will need to be rebuild some time any way ..So for this summer run it will do for now.

I have the exaust manifold for it also has the flange for the external waste gate (have that to)

What oil and coolant line fitting ?
j-pipe from stock intercooler how does that work :confused:
Where do i find the custom o2 housing ?
I am at a complete loss of where to start ...I was looking for a write up with pic's on an install , but found nothing ! maybe i was looking wrong ?

How much did you buy from ebay?

You do know you could have got a stock, or 16g turbo for about what you paid for that one.

I'm gonna wait for pics of the turbo.But I'm guessing it's going to be a forward facing compressor housing.Which means your going to need at least a coupler, or a coupler and bendy pipe, to attatch to the stock IC piping.

Looks like its a garret style return flange. So theres your flange. But im unsure of the specs it needs for oiling.

For the feed you can use a adapter to 4an from the OFH or the head. Depends on the specs once again.

As for the exhaust, Im unsure of that flange But I know our o2 housing wont work with that. So you will need a custom exhaust and o2 housing. You will need a bung welded for the o2 sensor. Could it be a holset flange? I dont know..

Could the flange be this. You then could use a vband exhaust which would HAVE to be custom made. My guess the time and money you have in this exhaust you can buy a REAL turbo.

Again, I dont recommend this on your car. I would hate to see you go through this all to find out it only lasts 100 miles or a fin breaks and blows your motor. And depending on the turbo, It is crucial to have the oiling correctly based on oil pressure. Sorry if I came off hard.
 
Sure that looks like it will work. Its hard to tell in that turbo pic. I dont know how much you have in this whole build so far. But if thats 95, you can get a good 16g for under 300. Just a thaught and it would be bolt on. That turbo doesnt use a j pipe. It a down firing turbo. So you would have to have intercooler piping for it or a long 90 degree coupler.
 
The turbo pics are horrible quality.I love the pants your wearing tho.

I'd sell you a 14b,but your in canada, shipping would be stupid expensive.

I would also not reccomend an ebay turbo on your car. And your going to have more lag than you did with the stock 14b, or even possibly a 16g.

But if you want to run an ebay turbo for less miles than a tank of gas be my guest.

20g's are direct bolt up to ? I can just sell it off and upgrade to 20g
 
Yes and no.I say both because, your profile says the car is bone stock.I would just go with a 14b, untill you need a larger turbWTF!!n a pretty much stock vehicle, a 14b is really the beez knees.

Small 16g's spool a tad slower than 14bs, and do flow more air.Then it goes big or evo 3, 18g, and 20g for airflow and spool time.
 
I've had many 16g's looking to go bigger this time around .Need to learn how to do the turbo's some time ...going for turbo , injectors , fule pump and fpr , along with dsm link ..and 2.5 or 3" exhaust back..and with wide band of course
Already have full race suspension with springs , rear chamber kit .Gm maf and maft
Will be doing vac del and abs del
