Hi everyone I am still new to DSM's but I absolutely love mine! I pulled the motor and tranny out -- 1990 Eclipse 4g63 Turbo and 5spd FWD-- I am having the machining done to the block, crank, head etc. right now and I ordered a T3/T4 kit w/e3xhaust header from ssautochrome last week and I recieved it not realizing that the exhaust outlet on the turbo was just an open hole meant for a V-clamp style setup. The question is...how to I hook the turbo and external wastegate up in this system? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
 
yes v-band outlet and wastgate piping and flangs.

the right was to do it is custom make it. buy 3" two v-band kits with one clamp and two flanges for each kit. that will be for your turbo outlit call o2ed houseing.
get at Exhaust guy to baind 3" pipe will your car in site. with a mandral beinder so the is still round at the beind. then you weld the v-band on each side. then with smailer pipe for the wastgate. put your wastgate and turbo on your manifold. then map out beind the wastgate piping to fit , going from the wastgate routed in to the o2 housing welded. then you beind down pipe out with a flix pipe and v-band flanges and a high flow cat, use any cat back Exhaust just cut the cat back fange and weld vband on. or make custom Exhaust
 
Thanks a lot..... I just have to come up with those flages and clamps....know anywhere that you could get a flange kit cheap and what the typical price is? The header already has the flange on it for the wastegate, my question is do i just then weld it back into the downpipe somewhere downstream of the turbo? I appreciate the help. Do you guys think that the t3/t4 turbo and cld air and the cyclone intake will help without doing anything major to the internals of the motor.. And lastly (I promise) is there anything I should suggest to my machine shop to do to the block or the head to increase h.p.? Thanks a lot.:dsm:
 
yes the wastgate pipe should be welded in to more of the bottom of 02 housing.
ask a car shop or look on the net. they ar 60 to 80 bucks .
with your motor, look in to , rods , pistons and rings.
cams velvas and spings. and litely port it
