Ok, i traded my t67 for a h1c (that i will upgrade to be hx35 equal), and another t3/t4 hybrid.. well i also got some blue top bosh (Rc engineering injectors) but i can decide tonight (or by tomorrow) to trade for the 1200's instead.

My question is will i be able to max out an hx-35 (or make 550 to a max of 575whp) on the 1200 on e85 or would i NEED the 1600's i really would rather not have them if i don't ahve to the more i think about it due to economy, idle pulse widtch and the popular [part throttle and idle troubles)

according to the chart here on tuners the 1200's are good to 53lb/,imn at 80% IDC and up to 67lb/min at 100% IDC where the 1600 are 71lb and 89 lb's respectively

I wante to know from anyone making over 500hp on a holset 35 series or even 40 (but not making over 600) if they feel they MUST have 1600's or would 1200's suffice? (in theory i know they would but we all know theory can be differen than real life)

Also, these are RC brand but are blue top bosch units, how do you like those if you run them??

YOur total boost, HP and IDC numbers would be apreciated as well as i need todecide by tomorrrow at noon or so

I'm not quite up to the power you are looking for but I do have an 8-blade HX-35 and RC 1200cc injectors. I made 452awhp on RREs dynopack dyno at 27psi flowing 44lbs/min with 81% IDCs maintaining 12.5:1 with actual 85% E85.

as you recall turbogen, rampridersrider on here made 508hp/455 torque with his hx35. He was running 1600's and was at 60%idc. 1200's would be fine too but bigger is better because you got room left to grow.

from what other members told me, blue max would be better because it idles better. bosh in the other hand is alittle diffcult to do it. both is big enough and i personally don't mind either one. but if i have enough cash i would go with blue max because its made for our cars.

Yes it was still at stock bfp.

well, I can only pick from the blue top RC 1600's and the RC 1200's (i don't like having to chop up the blue tops either) and i'm relaly picky about daily drivin so i don't want them to drive me nuts, but in my figures' i'd be at .48ms pulse at idle at 13.8;1 AFR on e85 (right now on 1000's i'm runnin 1.27ms at same idle)

.48 just seems like they would barely open, but i guess i should see what other 1600 blue top drivers are idling at and what fuel economy they're getting.. I relaly wanted 1450's but these are what fell into my lap so to speak.

Being my goals wlll never be over 550 hp to the wheels at least for several years i'd like to get good milage since it's my DD and sometimes i have to run it on pump, what would the blue top bosch's do then?

I loved my 1000's, but just got tired of running at 95% IDC and not making the power i wanted to yet
