HX 35( questions)

Ok i am building my 2.3 stroker engine. I am trying to decide on my turbo to use and get on the build? I am shooting for a goal of 550-600. I want a Holset HX 40 but can not find one for sale? I have seen HX 35 a lot? I was wondering if i get a HX 35 will i hurt engine and not make goal? And other question is i want to get HX 40 and it will meet goal correct? Cant find HX 40 though? I was also wanting to know how the spool on both will be? Thanks

1. Have you checked the classifieds? Ebay? Diesel cummins forums?

2.an hx35 will not hurt your motor any more or less than any other turbo as long as you are tuned correctly.

5. The hx40 in the .55 bep bolt on housing will see 20 psi by about 4100

The t3 .70 AR will see 20 psi by about 4800

I have no experience with the 35 but itll spool quicker.

Thanks for quick reply. N yea have looked in classifieds and eveything. Just maybe i can have some help finding hx 40 for build. I have looked n looked. I have been doing all home work on these Turbos. Just need some help finding a hx 40.

I found this turbo i want to get an its the WH1E. And its the same as HX40. i want to know is this a true holset? is it all good.

Raised Casting so yes. I was told that the WH1E has weaker thrust bearings
