I was having a trouble finding the female 24 pin connector for my 1g dsm until I found out mouser.com sells the connectors still for the cars. So you don't have to go junkyard diving to try and find a 24 pin connector when they break, crack or the pins aren't held into the connector anymore, like what happened to mine.

The part number to get a 24 pin that fits the ecu socket on mouser is:

571-172317-7

I just wanted to give people a heads up to help out the community it took me 3 days to try and source one from junkyards and websites, until I found it on that circuit website.

WOW! I'm also interested if they make or have available all the different plugs as well. It would be great to be able to make your own wiring harness and route it the way you want not to mention replace any pesky worn out or broken plugs. How do you make sure your ordering the correct plugs?

New United RaceTech

They also have about any 1g or 2g harness connector (either End mind you) that you can think of and a number of other connectors. I encourage anyone that needs or wants these to purchase them if 1 person buys a connector or gets a Minimum order in for something not in stock it get's the price down for the parts and the available stock up.

Their Site seems to be down....

But they also have about any 1g or 2g harness connector (either End mind you) that you can think of as well as the CAS plug that is hard to come by and a number of other connectors.

Are you sure about that? I thought they didn't carry most of the Mitsubishi parts, including the CAS connector.

Well... Being I've ordered the 1g and 2g/Evo ECU side connector, All 7 different Harness ends for either 1g or 2g/Evo and The CAS from there before.

I'd say yes... Though, They don't always have everything in stock.

Either way not sure what happen as there site seems to still have issues.

Their site is working fine for me, and still shows that they have no stock of the CAS connector, same as I have always seen it. Are you sure you got it from there? Do you have pics of the ones you bought? Maybe we are talking about different connectors. 1G CAS, The 4 pin JFC series?

I've never heard of anyone else stocking many of the underhood Mitsu connectors.

Grabbed the connector I have and realized it's not a CAS replacement.

Though in a pinch it can be made to work....

Site seems to be working now. But, yes I have sitting in front of me now all the parts I mentioned before aside from the Exact CAS plug.

Anyway...

HERE is a list of almost all the 2g connectors underhood for a 2g if anyone is interested with links to the product at resonable price for most.

In a pinch it can be made to work? Sounds like a hackjob. Too bad they can't get the correct connector. Surely someone can get the actual CAS connector??? Look around!

And while that is a great link to the pics, most of the underhood connectors are links to things that NURC doesn't have, and have never carried. They don't carry most Mitsu or KUM brand connectors. They only have the ECU ones because they are easier to get, and are neither Mitsu nor KUM. So it is deceptive to say that they have most of the connectors, when they have just a few, and pretty much none of the important underhood connectors.

Do you have anything helpful to add? OMG Didn't think so.

After all the useless crap that had to be cleaned up out of this thread and What YOU Already read in relpy. You come back for more? Let it go!

Get over yourself,
I may just have to Get myself some of these connectors and offer them just in spite. Wait, I have better things to do then give a shit about what another person is out there selling or at least have the sense to know that if I want to promote and advertise something here of mine I have to pay.

Good day ;)

For someone who has better things to do, you sure do like coming back here. Too bad you don't follow your own advice about adding something helpful.

If you were capable of understanding, I did have something useful to add. The reason the NURT source you are so excited about doesn't have the connectors that you claim they do. Look at the brands of each connector, like I pointed out.

Mouser has the TE one posted at the beginning of the thread for $1 and change, NURT has them for $6 when they are available, what were you saying about reasonable prices again? But since they may get them from Mouser(or Mouser's parent company), one would expect the prices to be higher.

But you didn't want to listen.

For someone that claims to have a business dealing with electronics on these cars, you don't really seem to know much about that. I hope you aren't butchering cars the way you are talking about butchering connectors to make it fit.

Sorry you got butthurt when I questioned you. But I knew you were wrong about that CAS connector, without even seeing it. NURT doesn't have them in stock, never has. And the rest of your claims about what they had in stock aren't accurate either.

I was pointing out a mistake, and trying to help people with real sources for the parts. If you want to read it another way, that is your right to cry and get butthurt:sosad:.

So all of the ones you got from NURT, how many were mitsu, and how many were TE? You keep claiming NURT stocks all these underhood connectors, yet you posted just ECU connectors that can be had from any number of places. That is the point I have been trying to make, that you are too thickheaded to get. I don't understand how you can run a side business doing electronics, and not understand the basics.

For someone who could care less about where people get the parts, you certainly did go out of your way to distort the facts about what your friends at NURT have available, as well as brag about their reasonable pricing(when it was over 3x the cost of the Mouser link already posted???).

And when someone pointed out an actual REAL source for the CAS you incorrectly claimed that you got from NURT, you complain about people trying to sell stuff on here. Several people asked about the Mitsu brand underhood connectors, and a source was posted, but YOU complained and it was removed. So you are basically keeping your fellow DSMers from finding the answers to their questions, and instead steering them in the direction of a supplier that doesn't carry the parts, and never has. If that is your idea of being helpful, well, I feel sorry for your customers. Even more than I did before.

I don't care if you don't want to buy anything, I wasn't selling it. I am amused at the fact that you would hack together harnesses and cut up connectors to make them sort of fit, just to make a point. I believe there is a phrase that describes that, "cut off your nose to spite your face". I hope your potential customers see how badly you'd mangle their stuff too :)

You came in here saying basically BUY FROM ME! So look I'm not here in this thread to sell anything to anyone.

Ya, Again
I was mistaken that I had a CAS connector in a Box of a Bunch of other things. (I said this before in my other posts you read) But, I also Made a point to tell you all the others I DID Have that I specifically got from them. So in the end what is your Point going on with this?
I could care less where anyone buys these things from, that is their choice in the end. All I did was Post a link to a place that has some parts from these people... .
I try to be helpful if I can, Ask anyone that knows me. ;)

Sounds like you have some personal problem with these guys, or just Felt like promoting yourself? I mean you went out of your way to say they are paying me! with quite a few other assumptions your quick to make ROFL

Rather than attack people or challenge then and assume you know exactly what people mean. When you have troubles even keeping Context with what is said.
Might be a better Business model to think about how you go about things in the Future rather then make things personal. :thumb: :)

Being you seem to have all theses Ideas about helping? Where is your help here? Can you link to a source to these that isn't listed? Did you even have any intent to? or was this all about proving me wrong?

Seem like you like to make assumptions about things. Like what people are saying and rather than actually Discuss them Just want a pissing match. With Your wrong and I'm right? I shouldn't have to repeat everything I said before again Should I? Obviously it was off point the first time or it would all be here still.

When I have time AS I ALREADY Said and you know I did.

I'd be happy to come back and add some info on exactly what parts they Did or Do have... That I have got from them or for that matter anywhere else.
IE:
The Male 10, 18, 24 pin and 52pin Female Ecu connectors for a 1g
As well the Male 12, 16, 22, 26 pin Connectors and 76 Pin Female Connectors for a 76 pin. for a 2g/evo.

Next time You Know something think about in your response the Context of what people say.
I would have probably bought some of the parts from you or sent your way people if it wasn't for this E dick measuring Contest. You wanted and keep wanting to get into. :|

Text can me real tone deaf at times you know :) Though not so much in your case...

Not sure who pissed you off so bad or why it was such a big deal that I was mistaken that I had got 1 part from somewhere when this thread wasn't even about that part. But let it go!!! Oh and again Most of these are actually Rhetorical Questions -_-
^
My only intended smart ass part

There is nothing being misconstrued. You were very deliberate in your actions to 1) deceive people about a source of connectors, and push people to that source even though the source doesn't stock them, and 2) hide an actual source of the underhood connectors people were asking about in this thread.

And now you are trying to retract your claims partially, just by deleting the comment about the CAS in your first post. You still claim that NURT has most of the connectors, when they don't. Look at all the other underhood connectors. Look at NURT stock of them. They don't carry most of them, because of the brand. They do have Sumitomo and Yazaki, which are used on some solenoids and actuators underhood. But the majority of the important ones are Mitsu connectors. And NURT doesn't seem to have any of those.

Have you figured out YET that the TE connectors at the ECU are not the same brand as all the underhood connectors made by Mitsu? It doesn't sound like you are getting that yet. The CAS connector is a Mitsu, not TE. NURT can get TE, for the same reason many other companies can in the US. It is because Mouser, aka TTI, is the main distributor in the US. Look on the TTI website, they point out other sources. Look at the TE website, they should have links as well. But when Mouser stocks them, you don't need another source.

I get the rules here. I was trying to help, by pointing out a source of parts that people were asking about. That shouldn't be against the rules.

You were the only one sending them to a place which is significantly higher price, not I. I listed the ONLY source of the CAS connector. If NURT advertises the CAS for $0.01 each, it doesn't matter because they don't actually stock them. So the place I pointed out is actually the cheapest price you can get a new one. But congratulations on possibly your weakest attack yet, which is saying a lot.ROFL

I'm sorry that you like to put words in people mouths, misconstrue what they are saying or make assumptions of what people do or how they do it. Then Get butt hurt when you break the rules here and your self promotion gets taken down by Moderators. Again this Thread had NOTHING to do with what you mentioned and I edited my post to remove where I mention the part I was mistaken about.
Everything else you say you have came up with on your own based on assumptions.

FYI pricing ANYwhere changes based on stock it's called supply and demand $1 vs $3 or $4 Ok I'm sure in some cases that is true... So why send them to somewhere that is 10x the cost? You contradict yourself start and finish here.

The fact that you have yet to add any source for these parts and only continue to make accusation that I said things or imply that I have or am doing so when I haven't. Just goes to show what your intent is or was IMHO.

Sorry, you took it personal and don't get the rules here. :|

I'm done with you though I said what I had to say before and again this is all pointless banter. :barf:

Well let me know which ones you are looking for, I may know where to get them. Or at least be able to ID them for you. The forum rules might not permit me pointing out a source though.

I think I heard recently that TTI(the parent company of Mouser) has become distributors for a few more Asian connector companies, but still not Mitsu or KUM. Anything TTI has, Mouser will stock, and usually for good prices. When I was making harnesses for some OEM applications here in the US, I used Mouser to get pretty much every part I needed. But of course, not for Mitsu parts.

Holy hell, thought Id drop in to see some usefull information in regard to connectors, but instead find a prime example of keyboard warfare in full effect. Not to take sides, but MY1GDSM is held in very high regard and is one of the most trustworthy members on this site. Why fight about who to buy from when all the op was trying to do was post some helpful info on replacement connectors for those of us who need them? "Good" threads are hard to find, that is to say, threads that aren't full of misinformation or off topic ranting or conflict. Why not just have these sort of conversations via private messages instead? Just saying...

Well NURT never has want I need in stock.

Would like to see a list for 1Gen Con/Pins
Order from both Mouser and NURT on the same day "Saturday" and they both came in today.

will post pics later today.

That ECT connector is one of the ones I haven't found the correct source on. NURT shows a connector, and I assume it works, but it doesn't look like the OEM one. If you got that one, I'd like to hear if it is good. The stock one has a locking tab on it, what about the one you got?

The other ECT connector(2 pin) in that pic is available from Mouser. It is TE. The only downside is that Mouser has a dark green housing now, not a black one. It looks like NURT has something too.

Sounds like they both have quick delivery, which is good. The NURT ECT connector is the same one Mouser sells for a bit less. But with Mouser, you have to know the connector part numbers, seal part numbers etc.

Did you not get the wire seals for the ECT connector? If not, I can provide you the Mouser part numbers when I get home. I'm sure NURT would have them as well.
