I was having a trouble finding the female 24 pin connector for my 1g dsm until I found out mouser.com sells the connectors still for the cars. So you don't have to go junkyard diving to try and find a 24 pin connector when they break, crack or the pins aren't held into the connector anymore, like what happened to mine.

The part number to get a 24 pin that fits the ecu socket on mouser is:

571-172317-7

I just wanted to give people a heads up to help out the community it took me 3 days to try and source one from junkyards and websites, until I found it on that circuit website.

For the record I never said I had a Kum Jfc series connector. What is it again Part JFC04RP? If you are willing to share Your Source by all mean go a head. It's not against the Rules and not self promotion unless you are trying to sell What You have.

kchaazz is right that above was all off topic and takes away from the point of the thread. I cleared out my post. You can do what you want here. Just figured it's better to be on point than doing that back and forth on something else that really isn't or could have been in Pm or just not happened...

Anyway,

Here are a Few Housings for 2g's That NURT has currently in stock, Though Not in Yellow. Probably as I cleaned out some of the connector stock not to long ago. :)

12 Position White
16 Position White
22 position White
26 Position Gray

FYI anyone,
You can get A lot of this Directy from http://www.tycoelectronics.com But their page can be hard to find the info about what is in stock and the actual part unless you know your Stock numbers.

kind of the same boat As http://www.mouser.com,

http://www.digikey.com is one other source that it nice to work with for varius parts mot sure if they have any of this in stock though :thumb:

OEM parts are getting harder and hard to come by for these 15-20 year old cars and the demographic that is buying them doesn't help matters.

I don't think many will mind if it not the original mitu part as long as it functions the same/ As much as it would be nice to be able get everything still. Just my 2 cents though about things though.

You said you had gotten a CAS connector from NURT, which is not true. That was simply what I tried to point out when you got defensive. Do you really want to go through that again?

There is a source for JFC connectors in single quantity. It was posted here, and you complained about that and had it deleted. Are you going to try to help the community out by posting that source? Or keep pointing them in the wrong direction, to sources that definitely do NOT have the connectors?

Digikey doesn't stock much in the way of automotive connectors, and is not a good source for them. Mouser is much better. Digikey is THE place to go for making PCBs and circuits, Mouser is better for auto connectors. But you know none of these carry the Mitsu or KUM connectors. Why would you work so hard to obscure a source of the Mitsu connectors people were asking about?

If you are willing to share Your Source by all mean go a head. It's not against the Rules and not self promotion unless you are trying to sell What You have.

My sources for the Mitsu connectors are only useful for people looking to buy connectors in 1000 pc quantities, and reels of terminals(2000-5000+) and wire seals. Are you planning on dropping a few grand to get that connector you want? People have posted some of my old sources here years ago, and after all these years, still no one else carries most of these parts.

OEM parts are getting harder and hard to come by for these 15-20 year old cars and the demographic that is buying them doesn't help matters.

So your solution to that is to deliberately attempt to harass and someone who has stepped in to this void, and is making these parts available? And why? Because your mistake was pointed out? Instead of helping out your fellow DSMer, that is a really good way to help the community.

I don't think many will mind if it not the original mitu part as long as it functions the same/ As much as it would be nice to be able get everything still. Just my 2 cents though about things though.

I agree that it would be nice to get everything still. I just don't sit there and wish someone ELSE would take care of it.

I forgot to give you the seal info. It looks like you just got the housing and terminal from NURT. If you did not get the seals, they are available from Mouser, their part # is 184140-1

I'm guessing the psychoanalysis is what you do on the side when you aren't supporting yourself from the DSM tuning community?

I'm neither pessimistic nor unhappy, I'm just waiting for you to admit that you were wrong to harass me, when I was just attempting to help people with correct information. And I am very patient. Everyone else knows you were wrong, it's just up to you to admit it now.

In the mean time you're still free to share your souce. 1000's or 1 it's a source :thumb:

For most DSMers, a source for 1 would be much more useful than a source for 1000. Why don't you share the source for 1 that was posted in this thread before you had it deleted?

I Didn't think you would share it... Anyway, I'm not a moderator here and I didn't Write the RULES.

The rules aren't preventing you from posting the source for the CAS connector and other underhood connectors that was deleted from this thread due to your crying to the moderators.

You keep deliberately pointing fellow DSMers to sites that don't have underhood connectors, to keep them misinformed. Digikey? And then you are asking for sources for 1000 pc quantities to deflect from the fact you are deliberately trying to keep the community misinformed.
