cant find 12 pin data link connector

any one know where the other connector is?? my car is a 97 turbo talon. I have tore half the car apart and still cant find it.

95 - 97s don't have the 12 pin data connector.

If you mean the OBD2 port, its above your right knee when sitting in the drivers seat.

no, I found that one. When I hook up my drbIII it says I need to hook up to the 12 pin connector also. the car was built 3/96.

Not sure what drbIII is.
(Edit: Its a scan tool, I would try using it with just the OBD2 connection.)

1Gs have the 12 pin connector used as a data port.

95-97 don't have the 12 pin connector.

98-99 have the 12 pin connector, next to OBD2 port, used for flashing the ecu only.

when I hook up just the obd2 connector I only get generic data, the drbIII scan tool is a Chrysler scan tool

You got a Mitsubishi ecu.

The 12 pin connector is probably on 2G Non-Turbo Chrysler ecus.
