Wow its been a long 4 days looking around every part store in the my STATE! for some dam PIGTAILS! :toobad:

I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get some Brake-light pigtails, and Reverse light pigtails for my 1999 GST. And if you don't know what a pigtail is, it's the little plastic piece that connects to light bulb, and then to wiring in your car.

ANYWHERE BESIDES A JUNKYARD!? I love junkyards and all, but for something like this, you never know if what you get from the junkyard is going to work when you get it home!

Please if someone if Junking their car, or takes apart DSM's for a living, Please let me know. Or if anyone has any other Ideas please let me know!

Thanks DSM-ers!

Those are bulb sockets, not pigtails. The pigtail would be the part that comes off of the harness, then pugs into what you have pictured. Looks like the dealer sells them with the lamp assy only. Salvage yard should be no problem as long as the contacts are not rusted. Those pretty much never go bad unless the tabs have been broken off.

I snagged the socket out of an older car, but I clipped the wires off far from the socket, then just crimped the old wires into the new wires. Fixed my intermediate tail light issue on the driverside turn signal indicator.
