I still consider myself a noob when it comes to "tuning". So I decided to make it an effort on my behalf to bypass certain suggestions from the Tech Guide. On my quest I went.
As some of you may know, I've indulged myself into using quite a few Evo parts on the DSM. Everything from intake and exhaust manifolds to rims and brakes to MAS and injectors to fuel pumps and FMICs to steering wheels and piston/rods. And a ton of shit in between. I have the Evo ECU swap on the back burner.
The 2G is out of comission at this point. You can view some of the aftermath, as well as my new DD, below.

I am also going to post up threads that I either started or added to with pictures.

I'm still in the process of converting some of this stuff over, obviously. But my main goal was to never touch an EMS.
Let me just get this out of the way for the newbies who want quick performance gains with little knowledge applied - utilizing the Evo MAS & injector combo with my 14B set in the low 20PSI range worked for me. You thought upgrading the 2G's UICP and CBV were nice bumps, wait till you take my route, if you so desire.
You obviously need other supporting upgrades to get the most out of your setup (such as an FMIC, fuel pump (rewired), exhaust, throttle body, boost leak test, MBC, etc) but I'm focusing on those three right now.
