Project 9's No Compromise update

Merry XMAS to all my dsm friends. Some people on the link forums thought I sold my talon or gave up on the build, neither is true. I picked up a 06 trailblazer ss that I just got done modding to the point im satisfied now considering its just my dd. Anyway my new years resolution is to switch gears back to the talon andfinally finish it.

Its the holidays so I wont bring up any neggativity but this is no hack job half ass build and I take a lot of pride in this car. If some people think im blowing smoke or taking to long I welcome you to try it yourself and do it faster without cutting corners. Happy holidays everyone.

Hey sean I understand how that is a one man mechanic buildng a car is not easy, I look forward to seeing some updates on your build, it's looking nice.
I have been building my for 4 years now and there's always something, the think that sets me backs just finding time to work on it when I have a full time job.

I had a friend that gave me rides everywhere as I was piecing my motor together over the timespan of about 8 months, now mines still not doin too good, however, he asked me what was so hard about building a motor so I told him we'd have a race, to see who would build the best motor without cutting corners the fastest, as it stands now, my car has been running just having some clutch issues, his car is still under a tarp with a bare block. I believe this was around the end of April when we started this little race. I think I'm lookin' pretty good

I'll be the first to admit I took the easy way out. But, it's alot more fun than wrenching every weekend on a car that might go 11's, then 12's, then maybe 13's, then back to 11's. This car runs the number every time, no fuss. It'll be here when you're finished, if you dont take too long..... I get bored easily anymore, and am already looking at C5 Z06s.

To be honest there isn't a whole lot of crazy things to do left. I need to get rubber on these rims and coilovers so I can roll her out to get painted and what not now that everything except the trans and tcase are under the hood.
