pressure drop

Emailed an intercooler distributor about a front mount, claims 2psi drop @ 30PSI. This seems high.
Would the drop be the same at a more streetable psi? say 18-22. Did not mail me back an efficiancy rating. Core is 21x9x3

I could have sworn that my old GReddy FMIC was advertised at less than 1% pressure drop. I could be wrong, but 2 PSI does seem kinda high......

Thought maybe the pressure would rise at a higher psi. Ive seen others that were 1psi drop at 15 psi.

do you actually mean percent there? if you do the math, 2 psi loss at 30 psi would be almost 7 percent pressure drop.

Yeah, I meant percent. I'm almost sure theat's what they advertise. And I dont think anyone would buy an intercooler that advertised a 7% pressure drop...... I'll call Slowboy and GReddy tomorrow just to see what they say.
