I have a P0443 EVAP Emission control system purge valve c fault. does anyone have any advice? When i crank the car the idle drops down real low, like its going to stall out almost. its pisses me off. then the car's idle will change when i drive it, ex: 900rpm cold start, 1200rpm after warmed up completely -- no surge whatsoever though.

Oh, I have EGR blocked off. I almost forgot. Would that trip a code? But even if it is just a random code, why is my car idling like it is when I first crank it?

Buy a new gas cap, unplug your battery for about ten minutes. If you have a factory stereo, get on the phone with mitsubishi to figure out your code. connect your battery. the light will go away and your engine will surge for the next 24 hours or so and it'll be fine afterwards. also check the connections (electrical and hose) to your intake to see if the engine is choking itself. when your car thinks somethings wrong, it will do strange things.

a gas cap can cause an evap fail if it's not sealed correctly. Disconnecting the battery will reset the light and code. as far as the stereo, when you disconnect the battery for awhile, the security system makes you enter a code before it'll work again. people would steal radios quite a bit in the 80s/90s.

oh, oh well it doesn't matter now. i totaled the damn thing last night

turned a corner and flipped it, stupid animals. we both made it out unharmed so we were lucky!

Thinking about buying a 1g or 2g awd shell, prob with tranny and blown motor

i will upload them in a day or so, i haven't had time to transfer them. it's been hell here the last few days. i'm trying to find another dsm to put my motor in, the motor was unharmed. i think i found a 92 talon tsi awd hopefully. we will just see.

I think it was a leak in my tank, i pulled the seat up and the outside of the tank was stained with gasoline:cry:but that doesn't even matter now. LOL

it wasn't the tank itself i think it was a bad gasket from the fuel pump.
