ECMlink Omni 5 bar MAP sensor ECMLink settings needed

@curt-s
I recently covered a EBay generic 4-bar in my build thread.

I compare it to the OMNI and it’s purdy good 👍 for being so cheap at least if it goes bad it’s like 15-20 bucks depending were your source it.

Also working on a dual MAP controller so incase one fails you keep running.

A bench test is one thing, being constantly sucked and blown at extreme pressures quickly is where the real truth of ebay-sourced sensors will be. The 68HTAv3 can build 20psi from 0 in less than a second under load in my I/C piping (a shortroute would be even quicker), so imagine that but over the course of many kilometers of driving.. and all it takes is a few PSI off for the system to go lean.

Granted it's the risk we all run, but nobody can argue against the the risk being much greater with generic ebay parts. They don't have to worry about warranty claims, they just ignore emails.

Would be an option if it weren't for the fact that they have only one international shipping open and it's $60USD. $60USD to ship a sensor in a padded envelope across the border.
The sensor itself is nearly the same price as the AEM unit here.
All-in-all, about $300CAD. Then I have to worry about duty+taxes on top of that

The shipping is the really egregious part.

I think I'll just bite the bullet and buy the AEM unit. Stupid Bezos won again

FWIW AEM MAP sensors are just rebranded SSI sensors, no kidding there’s an SSI sticker with part number underneath AEM’s sticker. I got my last 5 bar (SSI) from Digikey for a lot cheaper than going through AEM. The only difference that I can tell is the AEM sensor had AEM at the end of the part number whereas Digikey was just 000. Attached is my 3.5 from AEM and the other is a 5 bar I bought from Digikey.

I'll be darned. Amphenol SSI Technologies. That's a cool find!

Digikey doesn't have the P51-50-A-G-P in stock.
But they have this one (A-B-P instead of A-G-P):

P51-50-A-B-P-4.5V-000-000

Looks like the main difference between them is the A-B-P has 7/8" wrench flats on it, whereas the A-G-P has 5/8" wrench flats. And yup, my AEM sensors have 5/8" wrench flats. The B or G thing is called the Port Configuration. Both have 1/8 NPT ports, but the wrench size is different. Also have slightly different lengths shown in the Ports diagrams. And the "316L" column is different for them in the Port Configuration table, don't know why, but 316L is a high grade of stainless steel. I don't know what they are trying to say with that column.

And here's a shot of the page for the P51-50-A-G-P showing the minimum order of 5 units:
