ok my friend was checking my engine and said my trans fluid was low. so he walk to autozone to get a quart while i was just chillin watching tv at home . so after a while he called me out and said he was done. i look at the bottle he used and it was pennzoil syncromesh . now i read other posts saying that its only for manual trans and that it will mess up my auto. if this is so how will i completely remove the syncroshift fluid???

uh don't run it. drain it and do a flush. or have him pay the bill and tow it somewhere where it can be fully flushed out. i really don't think you should be using that especially since most companies run special fluids of their own in trannies.

For comparison, thats like mixing oil with hydraulic fluid. Drain it, replace the filter and refill it with atf. Whatever you do, dont drive it with the syncromesh in it. Might not do much now but long term effects will shine through.

Flush it and change the filter, it'll be fine as long as you don't drive it like that.

Well i did a complete flush but just incase imma do another flush a week from now just to be on the safe side. as for the hole tackling thing, i just let it go (im nice like that ).

hehe i went to autozone and got BnM . he paid and all without saying a word . now my car shifts like new again.
