Oil Return Lines?????

I have a 93 Laser Rs-T and my oil return line coming off the turbo is leaking, I replaced the gasket at the pan now tom im replacing the gasket at the turbo... if it is the line where the hell do i get one??????

Usually always just the gaskets...

Holy hell that was fast thank you though.... and is one of the gaskets more likely to go out then the other???? like i said b4 i replaced the one at the pan but its still leaking so ill replace the one at the turbo tom.

If you're seeing a measureable amount of oil leakage and the bottom is well-sealed, it's probably not the gasket at the top of the turbo- it's most likely the flex section in the middle. The 1G oil drains are made of steel piping with an aluminum flex section....the aluminum flex likes to crack.

If this is the problem, a permanent repair is to completely remove the aluminum flex and replace it with a piece of 5/8" silicone heater hose...you'll need about 4" of hose, and make sure it's silicone hose to withstand the hot oil. It's a good idea to leave the two beads on the upper and lower pieces of the steel pipe after the aluminum flex section is removed so the rubber hose doesn't try to slide off.


If you prefer to replace the entire drain with a new one, I have a pile of used ones in great shape at my shop....and they won't cost you $66.35.

ok what size do i need and could you tell me how much you want for one and how long it would take to get to southwest mi. i just know now that i replace the bottom gasket and now its leaking worse so im gonna do the top gasket and ill do the line thing tom too just to safe guard myself. I picked it up pretty cheap and i just want the damn thing to not leak 1qt of oil every 100 miles
