14b oil feed/return lines?

1. Can the oil feed line and oil return line and the water feed line from a 1g gst be used to put a 14b onto a 2g talon tsi? Or do I need longer lines to put a 14b on a 2g?

2. can the j-pipe from a 1g gst also be used when putting a 14b in a 2g tsi or do i need a different j-pipe to connect to the stock lower side mount intercooler pipe?

basically what i want to know is how many parts can i take from a 1g gst and use to put a 14b on my 2g?

p.s. i'm trying to do a cheap 2g 14b install.

water return line is different from 1g to 2g if i remeber but ## 2g line should fit on the 14b i did my install with just parts i had didnt spend a penny on install kit

1. No, you can use your 2g lines on a 14b install. Only mod you need to do is slot the oil return line. Also you "should" feed from the head so you need to buy a 1g style oil feed line. They arnt expensive.
2.I cant remember, It might work but I dont think so. T25 outlet is on the bottom while 14b is up top. And the jpipe wont come out in the right spot. You could try it but I think you need a jpipe, they arnt expensive either.

you can use a stock 1g hard oil feed..and the oil return you need to have one fabbed up because the 1g line is too short for the 2g...silicone line 2 clamps and the 2 flanges from the 1g hardline cut on each side will work...

the water lines...i just used 2 rear water lines from a 1g and bent them into place very very carefully and cut some rubber line in place for it to work...

i recommend having a oil feed line made though since if you use the hard line for the oil feed to head...your gonna have to plug the oil filter housing because that is where the oil comes from in the 2g's

lines are cheap though u can go on ebay and get one for like 20 bucks

the j pipe....no unless you have slim line fans your gonna need a aftermarket j pipe because if u use 1g pipe its going to go right into your fan...what i did since i was on a budget was this...i cut the pipe off the flange...turned it welded it back on got a second pipe and welded it on and created a pipe that would work! it was cramped but worked heres a engine shot of my 2g before i sold it!
