I have a tdo6 20g in the mail and nearly bought some SS oil feed/return lines then had to ask myself what the flow difference even is? They arent braided SS and pretty which is fine - the turbo wont be seeing past 24psi for a while, can I hold off? I dont mind spending 100 if I am dramatically reducing the chances of turbo death

The drain line you can usually reuse, assuming it's the same gasket/flange pattern as your current turbo. Are the TD06 and TD05 oil drain flanges the same?

I would highly recommend getting a new oil feed line for several reasons: 1. The stock feed line is hard metal tubing, which easily pinches, breaks, rusts, and after years and years of use, is probably clogged with bits of coked up oil. 2. SS line is much easier to deal with and will be much easier to remove, upgrade, and install in the future. 3. It'll look a whole lot better.

i was leaking oil out the feed line and i dont know how many stock oil return lines i went through.(accordian section) after I bought SS lines for both not a drop of oil. Its nice not to have too worry

Ordered a line from sbr that works off oil filter housing, guy said it would be fine, but I read a few stories of guys journal turbos eating it after they ran a feed line from OFH. What do you guys think? Should I put a restricter in to be safe?? ((balance shafts are out))

No. Journal bearings love oil pressure. Ball-bearing turbos are the ones that need restrictors if running from the oil filter housing. You'll be fine with just the line.
