Hello Guys,
I know this question has been asked and answered a million times, and I did extensive searching before posting. However, I need a little more help because I have two possible wires.

I recently bought a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD with a 6 bolt swap. Yesterday I was looking into fixing my non-working Oil Pressure gauge by searching for that infamous wire that always falls off.

Upon doing so, I found the nut that holds the connector on the Oil Pressure Sender had fallen off, disconnecting the wire. I also found a length of wiring harness wrapped up and zip tied in that area. Coming out of that harness are these two connectors that could both theoretically fit on the Oil Pressure Sender, once I fix it's missing spade connector. The two connectors are shaped different though.

Does anyone know which of these two (based on the difference in connectors) should be put on the Oil Pressure Sender once i fix the spade connector on that end? I don't want to plug the wrong one in and mess anything up, if that's even a possibility.

It wouldn't mess anything up to plug the wrong one in. Since there are only 2, try plugging each of them in and testing it to see which works. Pretty simple.

And if it still doesn't work, then you have a bad oil pressure sending unit, or possibly bad wiring.

Upon further investigation, one of the two wires coming down is plugged into another harness connector. So it seems the other (shorter) wire is the Oil Pressure wire I'm looking for.

Now the question is what is this long wire hanging down connected to another harness?

Tony got it right. Shorter wire for idiot light, longer for sending unit for gauge.

Think you have a different ofh

I think you're right about the OFH. So like you said, long wire must be sender and the shorter wire must be the dummy light.

So with that being said, is this where the dummy light wire goes? Looks like there was a metal connector that has snapped off? I'm referring to the screw with the thread (?) hanging down?

The dummy light connection is a round terminal and you remove the screw on the sender, put it on and tighten the screw down until it is snug.

I think your oil leak is coming from under the timing cover, or the cam seals. You should address that asap. No bueno if it's getting on your tbelt.
I think so too, I had a mechanic look the car over and he thought the same as well. He wants to remove the timing cover and inspect the seals and timing components. The only problem is, he doesn't have any openings for a month, so I'm currently looking for somewhere else to go. I know I'm in a race against time with the oil on the timing components. Not currently driving it, besides a couple miles to the mechanic. I'm going to do all timing components regardless of their condition, but obviously want to fix the leak before I start messing them up. I'm in the process of degreasing the engine so I can get it properly diagnosed.
