Pretty sure the previous owner removed the factory one, which would explain why my gauge doesn’t work... I’m trying to install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. I can find the idiot light sensor, but from all the pictures I look at, mines sender gauge is gone... is that just a cap with a nut on it?

Can I just take that off and hook my new one up? I heard it’s 1/8 nptb, but the 1/8 npt with work. Pics below.

That is the pressure relief valve. Don't mess with it.

The spider should just have a gas gauge and water temp gauge and does not have an oil pressure gauge

So... where the heck should I hook this up to? Should I remove one of the allen head bolts?

I wouldnt recommend it, I would put a tee where the idiot light switch is and use that as a source for the gauge.

Just ordered a t and the adapter. Saw a lot of ways to do it and didn’t want to get a sandwich plate. Thanks!
