im looking to buy my first DSM. im supposed to be checking out a 98 Eclipse 420a tomorrow. the only problem is he says it has a small oil leak. when i asked where at he said its coming from intake mani. well oil doesnt pass through the intake. was wondering if anyone else has seen this to know where it possibly could be coming from. my first thought is valve cover gasket. if anyone has ideas on where its coming from id appreciate help.

Thanks

420A- most likely he is looking at the back of the engine when its on the lift or something, they do have a few leaking issues with higher miles.. i have seen anything from valve cover leaks, oil pressure sensor leaks, head gasket leaking oil externally (far stretch). just take it to a good shop to have it inspected.
