2G Oil change

Hello,
I just changed my oil I’m my 2g gst and can’t check my oil level because the oil dipstick is covered in thin oil. I never had problems with it but I don’t known what oil the preowner put in. I already let the car run for a few minutes but It’s still the same.
(I put 10w30 in)
Did someone also had the Problem?

I normally grab a rag and pull stick wipe it and check. Will the think oil not wipe off?

Check the oil about 5 minutes after you turn the car off give it time to settle in the oil pan.

Did both of course, probably wiped off 15times and checked after multiple hours. Still the same results. Isn’t it like it’s my first oil change but never had something like that.

How much oil did you put in?
Did it seem like the same amount came out when you drained the old oil?
Did you change the filter also?

4.2 liters. I didnt measure how much i drained but it looked equal. I filter is also new, filled in about 100ml.

That should be close, the FSM says 4.0 dm^3 (4 liters) for the crankcase and 0.3 dm^3 (0.3 liters) for the filter.

I assume you're checking on a flat level surface, I can't imagine why the oil wouldn't be draining back into the crankcase and not filling the dipstick tube. Normally only the bottom of the dipstick sticks out into the crankcase.
