Accident, Maryland
Ok so i bought this eagle talon TSI awd. It has the following walboro 250, evo 3 16g turbo, 830cc injectors. 3inch from turbo back. Ok so it also has the Apexi SAFC. I accidentally changed the Hi and Low throttle A/F ratio like the bar graph that show what percent of fuel at a given RPM. Now i dont remember what it looked like before but now the car throws a CEL and it runs bad. Its ok when i baby it. But in high and low throttle it studder when it starts to make boost. Sometimes it will pick up and surge making boost and sometimes it just acts like its ganna put out. You all know what I meen. I didnt use a laptop. But right now HIgh and Low throttlre are set to 0 at on all RPMs. I do rememeber that on low and high it was all set in the negatives. It idles better now but not running correct. Can anyone give me like a base map I can use just so its not hurting my car. And what are the hot wire sensors when it says IN 1 OUT 1. I believe that was changed first. I dont know what that is. The transmission is another story for after this gets fixed. Please Help Thank You

O AND RUNNING ABOUT 5-6PSI

The absolute best solution for you would be to go in to a shop to have it dynotuned with the SAFC. That way you can take out the guesswork that could potential cause your motor to blow.

Otherwise, track down a wideband O2 sensor and convince a knowledgeable local to fix it for you for a case of beer.

830cc ? injectors are to big for a SAFC !
650cc no more !

This is very true, unless you have another thing compensating for those injectors, they are too big for just a SAFC to compensate for; 650cc is max when using only SAFC. You can't, nor should you, do any guess work or have people blurt out numbers for your SAFC to be set back to normal. You will need to have it re-tuned either by yourself if you have the logger/wideband or by a shop.

ok i forgot to mention i have to a GM MAF and translater doesnt compensate for the injectors. and i do not have a wide band or a data logger. If i take it to a shop can thy do it without the wide band or data logger? and i downloaded the SAFC2 manual and it answered lots of ques. But still cant get it to run right. I didnt wanna do any damage so i parked it. Now to look for a shop i guess.

Get a wideband, safc would be ok for fine tuning. For the shop get a wideband dont know of any shop to tune a car without one, at least as far as i know.

ok ill have to get one installed. Does anyone know of a shop in morgantown WV to do the tune and possibly a wideband?
