nt wanting more power

First off I put the n/t computer in it (bet you didnt realize the pin out is the same and the only pins that are different have no connections inside the ecu) , second I have a pacesetter header (sorry, didn't notice the s). Furthermore yes, 9.0 is stock compression but if he plans on turbo he doesn't really want higher than that (yes he could but why unless he is going all out.) but he won't lose power if he has to wait for the turbo and needs to drive it. And last but not least let's watch all these "PROVEN MEMBERS" break the rules and being smart asses, this place is a joke. Never any answers from the guys who think they know all and the ones who do know never post. I'm happy with what I got. Remember they sold n/a awd in other countries? Oh yeah you probably don't cause your so far up yourselves in your false turbo glory that all of a sudden any one lacking a turbo should just go your route. I just told someone last night that the dsm community is the greatest thing in the world but I should have said some of the dsm community.
Eat it Boostinsideways :p I don't care if I get booted your a close minded tool

Take it easy dude. I understand what you are saying, you can do the engine work and then turbo it later. But the problem is that that engine work, using the stock n/t comression ratio, still won't give you anymore power.

I feel, and I mentioned this already in my first post, that the 4G63 n/t has a lot of potential that has never been unlocked. However, you won't unlock it with bolt ons. The n/t doesn't respond to bolt ons like the turbo versions do. So why spend a ton of time and money, and go into uncharted territory, not knowing if it will pay off, when you can just turbo it and run faster with a stock turbo (14b) then you ever would spending a ton of money on a super high compression, super lightweight rotating assembly, n/a 4G63.

That is why I always recommend guys in the OP's position with n/t dsms to enjoy their cars as they are (don't waste money on bolt ons that won't do much more then increase the exhaust decible levels) or if they want performance, if they want to go fast, if they want what all the other dsms have, to buy a turbo car or spend the time and patience to do the turbo swap. I've been there, my dsm was originally n/t, I'm not just spitting back up what I've heard. I know from first hand expirience. Take it for what its worth.
