i just bought a gst couple weeks ago and wanting to know what things i can get to make it beat or hang with a neon srt4, im not wanting serious hp, car is bone stock, just want reliable hp

Depends on the money you're willing to spend, an exhaust, frontmount and a 16G turbo on 12-14 pounds of boost should start getting you on your way. I'd also spend money on a Walbro 190lph fuel pump. Later on if you want to replace the injectors and tune I would recommend FIC 950s, DSMlink V3 and a wideband, along with 264 cams or 272s.

All really depends on how far you're willing to stretch your pocket.

First thing, maintenance. Trust me, you can buy shit load of aftermarket parts but if your compression or something is not up to par. The car aint going.

You can't do much without a turbo swap. But if that is out of the question for now. Get a 1gen bov, intake filter and pipe, egg-aust, boost controller for 15 psi.

This is something that is covered on the upgrade path page i believe. You set your goal to run with a STOCK SRT4? roughly 240hp and a stock 2g is 210hp. A 2 1/2 turbo back exhaust hard intercooler piping, 1g bov if you still have the stock plastic pos, walbro 190 and a set of 500-600 cc injectors, boost turned up a hair 14-16 range, and that should pretty much cover that goal.

I'm not all familiar with srt's but I'd start with a compression test on your engine to make sure it's up to par. Then start with an intake, 3" exhaust, ported housings, boost controller/gauge,1G BOV or external wastegate, bigger fuel pump (190 or 255 depending how much hp), a 16G turbo, then a FMIC. Just the basic bolt on's and you SHOULD be running around 300 hp give or take depending.
